Soyuz Progress Launch, Rendezvous And Docking In Just 5 Hours and 43 Minutes

A mere 5 hours and 43 minutes after launch from Baikonur the Progress M-16M docked to the International Space Station today August 2nd 2012 at 01:18 UTC.

This was a test of a new fast approach which in future may be used on manned Soyuz flights to negate the need for crews to stay in a cramp Soyuz capsule for 2 days as they approach the Station.
