.Launch of Landsat DCM on Atlas V from Vandenberg .
The very first Atlas V from Vandenberg for NASA launched today, February 11th 2013 at 18:02 UTC. The Atlas V 401 is carrying the Landsat Data Continuity Mission spacecraft into orbit - which will become Landsat 8 after testing in orbit.
