I arrived at the field around 9:00AM. The sky was overcast and there was a lite drizzle. The field was soaked and muddy. I hung out for a while waiting for the rain to subside. When it broke I put the truck in 4 wheel drive and headed for a dry spot in the middle of the field. I setup a small Estes pad and grabed the launch controller. I loaded up my Patriot with a B6-4 and launch it straight up. It landed about 10 feet away. Successful flight! Then the sky opened up and the deluge began. So I headed to Waffle House for breakfast. At least I got a flight in.
